Hayak-2014 Awards to be dedicated to Sergei Parajanov’s 90th birth anniversary

For the second time “Hayak” Cinema Awards will honor the Armenian cinema production. The awards ceremony will take place at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiaryan on May 1st. The best works and their authors will receive the prizes of the National Cinema Center. Applications can be submitted until March 10.
The films produced in 2012 not presented at last year’s competition, as well as the ones produced in 2013 are eligible to participate in Hayak-20114. The jury will be headed by film director Edgar Baghdasaryan.
This year Hayak Awards will be dedicated to Sergei Parajanov’s 90th birth anniversary, and a special Parajanov Prize will be awarded within the framework of the event.
