Midfielder of the Armenian national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan has expressed gratitude to Bernard Challandes for his contribution to the Armenian football.
The message posted on Mkhitaryan’s Facebook page reads: “I would like to express my deep gratitude to our coach Bernard Challandes for his contribution to the Armenian football, for his devotion and professionalism. It has been a real pleasure for me personally to work with such a trainer and I appreciated very much the advice he had given to me. It has been certainly a short experience, but I would like to sincerely thank him for his great support and wish him the best of luck in his future projects.”
Challandes quit as Armenia head coach on March 30 after 2:1 defeat to Albania in a Euro-2016 qualifier.
