President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach and President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey will arrive in Armenia on October 8 for a two-day working visit.
President of the Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan will welcome the guests at Zvartnots Airport.
Thomas Bach and Patrick Hickey are expected to meet with Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan.
On the second day of the visit they will participate in the solemn opening ceremony of Armenia’s first Olympic Champion Hrant Shahinyan’s statue.
The Presidents of the International, European and Armenian Olympic Committees will make a statement for the press after a meeting.
