Armenia’s state debt totals $3.8 bln as of October 2013 and is expected to grow with another $100 mln by the end of next year, according to the draft budget for Fiscal Year 2014.
The budget will allocate $292 mln to pay off part of the loans ($235 mln) and the interests ($57 mln).
Next year the state debt is expected to make 36.1 percent of the GDP, Armenian Minister of Finance David Sargsyan told Public Radio of Armenia.
A 5.2 percent of GDP growth is predicted for 2014 instead of this year’s 4.1 percent. The executive connects this with the development of the fields of construction and industry.
