The Armenian Government has decided to approve the construction of a school with advanced teaching of Chinese.

The decision has been made on the basis of the Agreement on Technical-Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Armenia and China.

The Armenian side has provided area for this purpose. The Chinese party will carry the construction expenses.

An agreement on the construction of the school was reached at a meeting between the Presidents of the two countries in 2010.

“We wish to turn the school into the largest center of Chinese in Eastern Europe and CIS,” Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said.
