The Dutch Government has included Armenia in the list of safe countries, the Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands informs.
The authorities say there are no special security risks for Dutch citizens to visit the country.
According to the Embassy, this opens up new perspectives for encouraging Dutch tourists to travel to Armenia.
The list of safe countries is based on surveys and assessments by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice and Security, as well as other agencies.
