Armenian soldiers have found the body of an Azerbaijani serviceman in front of one of the Armenian military positions located in the southeastern section of the state border, the Armenian Ministry of Defense informs.
The Ministry identifies the serviceman as a Captain of the Azerbaijani armed forces, company commander, who fled after a crime was committed at his military unit.
The Armenian Defense Ministry has expressed willingness to return the body to the Azerbaijani side with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Investigation into the details of the incident is under way.
