President of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Babloyan will visit Russia in the near future..
The Speaker discussed the details of the visit at a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin today.
Ara Babloyan emphasized the importance of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and stressed the need to intensify cooperation within the framework of international parliamentary structures.
The Speaker also stressed the role of the Russian Embassy in the development of bilateral relations and pledged willingness to cooperate with the Embassy to the benefit of further deepening of ties between the two friendly peoples.
Ivan Volynkin noted, in turn, that “the two countries linked by historic ties should develop relations in all domains,” and attached special importance to the cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
