The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs plan to visit the region in May-June, Russian co-chair of the OSCE MG Igor Popov told APA on April 8
Popov recalled that their last visit to the region was made in February.
“We plan to visit the region in May-June. We will discuss the date of our visit next month. The exact date of the visit has not been fixed yet,” the Russian co-chair noted.
The diplomat said they are working to develop a thorough agenda of the next meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents.
“Of course, we intend to arrange the next meeting of the presidents. Prior to that, we have to organize a meeting of the two countries’ foreign ministers to discuss preparations for the president’s meeting,” Popov added.
The Russian co-chair also expressed concern over the escalation of tension on the contact line, urging the conflicting parties to adhere ceasefire.
