On a working visit to Dushanbe, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Aslov.
The Foreign Ministers of the two countries discussed the steps to be taken towards the development of bilateral relations, the activity of the Inter-Governmental Commission and the intensification of parliamentary contacts. Reference was made to the reinforcement of the legal framework and enhancement of cultural exchange.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Tajikistan dwelt on issues of bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations, conduct of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
