The number of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani side at the line of contact with the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh has sharply increased in the recent period, NKR Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
More intensive firing was reported in the eastern section of the line of contact in the direction of the crash site of the Armenian helicopter downed on November 12.
The rival used weapons of different caliber, including grenades, as it violated the truce about 190 times the night of November 21.
The front troops of the NKR Defense Army undertake all necessary measures not to allow the rival approach the site of the crashed helicopter.
At this point the crash site and the frontline are under the permanent control of the Armenian frontier guards.
