President Serzh Sargsyan received today the delegation headed by the Speaker of the NKR National Assembly, Ashot Ghulyan. The delegation is in Armenia for the 10th sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the National Assemblies of Armenia and Artsakh.
Ashot Ghulyan briefed the Armenian president on issues on the agenda of the sitting. At the request of the guests, President Sargsyan referred to the urgent issues of Armenia’s domestic and foreign policy, including the latest developments in the process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, the perspectives of development of Armenia-EU relations, etc.
The interlocutors stressed that stable and strong Armenia is the main guarantee of security and peace in Artsakh.
Ashot Ghulyan assured the NKR Parliament would continue to do its utmost to deepen the ties with Armenia and implementation of a common political line targeted at ensuring the security and wellbeing of the Armenian people.
