Former president Jacques Chirac proclaimed he would endorse ex-prime minister Alain Juppé for president in the 2017 election. According to “Figaro”, Juppé is the main contender of Nicolas Sarkozy.
“If I had enough energy, I would have already asked for an office /even a small one/, in Alain Juppé’s campaign headquarters,” Chirac added.
Manwhile, the first lady of France, Bernadette Chirac had announced earlier, that she would unconventionally support Sarkozyin the next presidential elections.
