The National Assembly voted 67 to 18 with 29 abstentions today to approve the amendments to the Law on Funded Pensions.
“Orinats Yerkir,” the Armenian National Congress and the Heritage factions voted against the bill, except for Hrant Bagratyan from the Armenian National Congress, who abstained from voting.
The Prosperous Armenia and the Armenian Revolutionary federation abstained from voting. Teh Republican faction favored the draft law.
The law will not be sent to the President for ratification. The law will come into force after it’s signed by the President and published in the official directory.
