President of the Greek Parliament Vangelis Meimarakis is arriving in Armenia today for a two-day working visit at the invitation of the Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan.
Within the framework of the Vangelis Meimarakis is expected to have meetings with Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II, Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and members of the Armenia-Greece Friendship Group of the Armenian Parliament.
The Speaker of the Greek Parliament will visit Tsitsernakaberd to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
