China will provide Armenia with military aid worth USD825,000 a year under an agreement signed by the two countries on 26 December.
The Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement that the funding was agreed during meetings in Beijing between Chinese defence minister Chang Wanquan and his visiting counterpart, Seyran Ohanyan.
The Armenian MoD added that the two sides also pledged to enhance collaboration in areas related to military medicine, education, and training, as well as military-technical co-operation.
