Mkhitaryan fires Dortmund top of Bundesliga

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored twice fo rBorussia Dortmund to maintain its winning start to the Bundesliga with a 2-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

Mkhitaryan opened his account for his new side in the 10th minute, when Jakub Blaszczykowski timed his pass perfectly to set the Armenian up.

Another offseason signing, Frankfurt’s Czech striker Vaclav Kadlec, equalized in the 36th, converting the rebound after Stefan Aigner’s initial headed effort crashed back off the crossbar after a great cross from Takashi Inui.

Mkhitaryan produced a fine individual effort for what proved to be the winner in the 56th, collecting the ball from Kevin Grosskreutz near the touchline, advancing and then unleashing a shot with his left boot inside the far post, AP reports.

Dortmund is the only Bundesliga side to have won all four games since the season began, with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen both dropping points in the fourth round.
