On the occasion of President Sargsyan’s birth anniversary along with other Heads of states, he received a congratulatory message from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

You deservedly enjoy high esteem in your Motherland and abroad. Your input to the strengthening of the Armenian-Russian relations, which are based on the old traditions of friendship and mutual respect, is hardly to be overestimated.
Our latest meetings contributed to the further expansion of our bilateral political dialogue, constructive partnership and cooperation in the trade, economic and other areas, on the international arena, particularly in the framework of the CIS and CSTO.
