The long-term observers of the International Expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) have held consultations with the leadership of the Central Electoral Commission and have started a series of meetings with the presidential candidates.
Summing up the results of the first week of its mission, ICES hails the transparent, balanced and unbiased coverage of the election campaign by mass media.
“Mass media do not demonstrate discrimination and open support towards any of the candidates. Media keep all participants of the presidential race in the spotlight,” the mission says in a statement.
