Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Olexander Pavlyuk.
Minister Nalbandian congratulated him on appointment and voiced hope that the progress in the implementation of the joint progress would be maintained during his tenure in office.
The Minister stressed the importance of closer cooperation with the Representative of the CoE Council of Europe during the Armenian presidency of the Council of Europe from May of the current year.
Olexander Pavlyuk assured he will spare no effort to support the effective implementation of the programs envisaged under the Armenia – Council of Europe Action Plan for 2012-2014.
The parties referred to the participation in the observation mission at the presidential elections in Armenia.
