Political Science Association of Armenia condemns all manifestations of terrorism

The proposal to publish the statement of Political Science Association of Armenia was made by its Chairman Hayk Kotanjian, Doctor of Political Sciences.

Responding to the statement of the Chairman of the Jewish community of Armenia, member of the General Council of the Euro – Asian Jewish Congress and European Jewish Parliament R. Varzhapetyan, Political Science Association of Armenia expresses its concern on the developments taking place in the Middle East, and particularly, in Syria as well as along the Israel – Gaza Strip border line. Condemning terroristic actions regardless the purposes of the organizers, the Association urges all the parties of the conflict to undertake necessary steps to restore peace and stability in the region.

Political Science Association of Armenia hopes that the cease fire, which came into force on November 21 first of all thanks to mediation efforts of the US and Egypt, may serve as a base for the resumption of negotiations aimed at conflict resolution.
