Victor Soghomonyan, Head of the Office of the second President of Armenia, refuted the information on the meeting of Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan abroad in an interview with Mediamax today.
“These publications are not true. Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan didn’t meet and Robert Kocharyan was in Canada on the day the rumors emerged. I could have confined myself to this much but I would like to ask a rhetoric question: why should Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan have met abroad if they can do it in Yerevan? I suggest the fans of the conspiracy theory to give up seeking for secret meetings, especially in foreign countries. I am sure it’s a completely useless thing to do,” Victor Soghomonyan said.
