Magnitude 5.1 earthquake hits Turkey, felt in Armenia

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit 19 km south of the city of Ardahan, Turkey, at 18:08 local time (14:08 GMT), Armenia’s Seismic Protection Service reports.

The intensity of the tremor reached 7 at the epicenter.

The earthquake was felt in Armenia’s Shirak province and capital Yerevan.
