Levon Aronyan has defeated the Russian Grand Master Daniil Dubov 1.5: 0.5 in a long set of 97 moves. Aronyan is now in the quarterfinals of the Chess World Cup under way in Tbilisi. During his next game he will compete with Vasilii Ivanchuk from Ukraine. The quarterfinals will kick off on September 15.
