Armenia lifts visa requirements for citizens of Qatar

 

 

 

The Armenian government today approved the decision to lift visa requirements for citizens of Qatar.

The decision comes into force on June 10.

The decision will allow citizens of the State of Qatar to travel to and stay in Armenia for a maximum of 180 days a year without visa.

The government says this will not only boost the development of tourism, but will help the two peoples to learn about each other’s religious and historical-cultural values, outline new spheres of cooperation.

Presenting the project at the government sitting today, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan noted that “the issue of visa liberalization with a number of other countries is being considered.
