JeSuisCharlie (“I am Charly”) hashtag, devoted to the victims of Wednesday attack on the French Charlie Hebdo magazine, was used more than 5 million times at “Twitter” microblogs, RIA Novosti reports.
The white-on-black script “JeSuisCharlie” appeared in the webpage of the periodical after on Wednesday morning the attackers broke into the building ofeditorial office of Charlie Hebdo and opened fire on the presents. As a result 12 people were killed. The attackers managed to escape.
In addition, on January 9 at a poster with the phrase “I am Charlie” was posted at Times square in New York.
