Warlick urges the parties to refocus efforts on negotiating a peaceful settlement

We have seen the reports about the operation to recover the bodies of the crew members killed in the November 12 downing of a military helicopter along the Line of Contact, U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick told APA.

“The November 12 incident was a tragedy that must be avoided in the future. We urge the parties to show restraint and refocus their efforts on negotiating a peaceful and lasting settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Further violence and retaliation will undermine peace talks and impede the resolution of humanitarian issues that arise as a result of the conflict”, said the diplomat.
