Cross-stone in memory of Armenian Genocide victims unveiled in Neuwied, Germany

A cross stone dedicated to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims was unveiled in one of the central squares of the German city of Neuwied.

The memorial was blessed by Archbishop Garegin Bekchyan, Prelate of the German Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Speeches were offered by the Mayor of Neuwied Nicolaus Roth, Adviser at the Armenian Embassy in Germany Ashot Smbatryan, head of the Armenian community ofNeuwied Zhenik Chatak.
