Radical changes are expected in the field of Internet governance. The issues of development and management of Internet were discussed at a recent conference of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in London.
In particular, the US authorities intend to transfer the governance of Internet domains to an independent body.
Vice-President of the “Internet Community” NGO Grigor Saghyan presented the results of this decision to reporters today. He said the domain in Armenian script could be implemented by the end of the current year. It will be operational parallel to the .am domain.
