Armenian driver Hrachya Harutyunyan, who has been detained for a year now, has not been released from jail, Yeranuhi Tumanyants, Head of the Torture Prevention Department of the Armenian Ombudsman’s Office told panorama.am.
“Together with Hrachya Harityunyan’s lawyer Ruben Margaryan we are trying to clarify why the Russian media disseminated the misinformation,” she said.
Russian Itar-Tass agency reported earlier that the presidium of the Moscow City Court cancelled the decision to extend the term of detainment of Hrachya Harutyunyan.
