On May 23, the City Hall of France’s Burg-Le-Valance and the Coordinating Association of Armenian Organizations of Drom and Ardesh held a joint event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ceasefire, Press Service of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
Permanent Representative of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic to France Hovhannes Gevorgian, Mayor of Burg-Le-Valance Marlen Murie, MP from Burg-Le-Valance, member of France-Karabakh Friendship Circle Patrick Labon, regional and municipal officials, representatives of the local Armenian organizations and journalists were present at the event.
During the event, Mayor of Burg-Le-Valance Marlen Murie announced his decision to join France-Karabakh Friendship Circle, which was welcomed by the participants.
At the end of the event, Artak Herikian’s film Our Artsakh was shown.
