On 28 January in connection with the Day of the Army Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan sent congratulatory addresses to the President Serzh Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia and Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.
The address to President Sargsyan runs as follows:
“Respected President Sargsyan,
On behalf of the Artsakh people, the authorities and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate You on the Day of the Army.
It is an undeniable fact that today the Armenian army is the most efficient and organized army in the region, which is among the greatest achievements of our nation.
Following the example of their heroic fathers and grandfathers, the brave soldiers of our glorious army perform the tasks set before them with flying colors, providing security for the homeland and the nation, safeguarding the state borders. This is a vivid manifestation of patriotism and devotion.
On this festive Day I once again congratulate You and the entire staff of the Republic of Armenia’s armed forces from a private to general and wish peace, robust health and great success for the glory of further strengthening and developing the independent Armenian statehood.”
