French President Francois Hollande will visit Armenia in May 2014 at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Public Radio of Armenia reports, quoting the Press Service of the Elysee Palace.
The President of the Republic received the representatives of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF), Mourad Papazian, Ara Toranian and Alexis Govciyan.
He praised the work of the CFC towards preserving the Armenian culture and memory.
The leaders presented the project of a national memorial center, which the President supported. They also discussed the preparation for the centenary of the Armenian Genocide in 2015.
The Head of State confirmed that he will visit Armenia in May 2014 at the invitation of President Sargsyan.
