The plane en route from Yerevan to Saint Petersburg made an emergency landing at the airport of Rostov-on-Don because of a passenger’s death.
The 44-year-old man suddenly felt ill and lost consciousness during the flight. The exact cause of the death has not been established yet. As Komsomolskaya Pravda reports, he was suffering from a serious heart disease and was heading for Saint Petersburg for treatment.
All measures taken by the crew to help the man were vain and the pilot decided to make an emergency landing. The ambulance, which arrived immediately after the plane landed, did not manage to save the passenger’s life, he had died in the air.
