The delegation headed by Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan participated in the regular meeting of the Defense Ministers of the countries contributing to the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan.
During the sitting the military-political leadership of NATO and the Defense Ministers exchanged views on the current stage of ISAF mission, the progress registered in the transition of responsibility for the security to the local law-enforcement bodies, as well as the preparations for the new Resolute Support mission that will come to replace ISAF.
Also, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan participated in the sitting of Defense Ministers of the countries contributing troops to the German-led Regional Command – North.
