David Safaryan, representing Armenia, has become a world champion in freestyle wrestling.
The 24-year-old Armenian beat his Cuban rival Livan Lopez in the 66-kg final at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on Monday.
Armenia last had a world champion in freestyle wrestling in 2002. Safaryan won a European title in March.
