On July 12, the USAID-funded Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness (EDMC) Project, in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and the Armenian Ministry of Justice, will hold a high-level conference on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system reforms.
The goal of the event is to discuss ADR reforms in Armenia within the context of the country’s business-enabling reforms agenda, and sharing the American approach to ADR as an international best practice.
The conference follows the official signing of a letter of intent on July 11 at the Ministry of Justice, which signaled mutual cooperation between the Ministry and USAID in developing Armenia’s ADR system to offer Armenian businesses and consumers an alternative to traditional litigation.
