Within the framework of the Armenian Presidency of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, the National Assembly of Armenia will host a pan-European conference on “The European standards of the rule of law and the limits of authority in CoE member states.”
The conference scheduled for June 3-4 will bring together about 80 representatives of 32 countries.
Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan will offer opening remarks. The conference will feature speeches by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, President of the European Court of Human Rights Dean Spielmann and President of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio.
