Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received World Bank Executive Director Frank Heemskerk. The Prime Minister hailed the cooperation with the World Bank and voiced hope that the bilateral cooperation would expand and reinforce in the future.
The interlocutors discussed the process of implementation of WB-financed projects in Armenia in the fields of agriculture, state apparatus and local-sell government bodies.
At the request of the WB Executive Director, Tigran Sargsyan presented the state of Armenian economy, the implementation of reforms in the country and the future steps in that direction.
Frank Heemskerk promised to present the Armenian Government’s views towards expansion of bilateral cooperation to the consideration of the World Bank.
