Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian participated in the sitting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers.
The Foreign Ministers of the CIS participating countries discussed issues of deepening of cooperation in the humanitarian fields, development of cooperation in the sphere of security, etc.
The participants discussed the draft doctrine on fighting crimes committed with application of Information Technologies, the draft agreement on cooperation between border agencies of CIS countries, the 2013 plan of actions of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the member states.
On the sidelines of the sitting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kaminov.
The Foreign Ministers of the two countries discussed the current level of cooperation and noted that all prerequisites exist for the further reinforcement and expansion of ties.
The parties agreed to take relevant steps to boost trade and economic
relations, promote the cooperation within international organizations and develop the cultural exchange.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan Edward Nalbandian and Erlin Abdildayev discussed the avenues for
the reinforcement of bilateral relations, deepening of cooperation in multilateral formats, organization of high-level reciprocal visits.
Minister Nalbandian invited his Kirghiz counterpart to Armenia.
