Armenian national carrier Armavia declared bankruptcy today and will cease flights starting April 1.
“For more than three years, the owner of Armavia has invested money from other businesses to support Armavia’s development. However, as of now, the situation is that it is not possible to continue this way that is why it was decided to stop the flights and start the bankruptcy procedure,” reads the statement disseminated by the company.
Armavia thanked all its passengers of the past 12 years.
