Raffi K. Hovannisian today received Ambassador Traian Hristea, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia. Hovannisian and Hristea discussed matters concerning the February 18 vote—including the violations recorded on election day—and the post-election developments.
Hovannisian and Hristea were joined by Hovsep Khurshudyan, Raffi Hovannisian headquarters spokesman; Onno Simons, Head of the Political, Economic, Press, and Information Section of the EU Delegation; and Political Adviser Andrey Didenko of the EU Delegation.
Tomorrow Raffi Hovannisian will meet with Norbert Lammert, President of the German Bundestag, who is in Armenia on official visit.
To note, Raffi Hovannisian headquarters legal adviser Karen Mezhlumyan today will appeal to the Constitutional Court to challenge the constitutionality of Article 18:5 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia.
