Armenian Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladyan handed passports of the Republic of Armenia to more than 70 Syrian Armenians at a solemn ceremony hosted by the Armenian Embassy.
The Ambassador wished success and peace to the new citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
After the official ceremony the religious leaders highly appreciated the decision of the Armenian Government to grant RA citizenship to Syrian Armenians, and voiced hope that this attitude would be maintained.
