The nomination of candidates for the presidential elections scheduled for February 18, 2013 starts today. The candidates should submit all necessary documents to the Central Electoral Commission by 6 p.m., January 4.
The Central Electoral Commission will continue working, although the nomination process overlaps with the New Year holidays.
Every person above thirty five, having been a citizen of the Republic of Armenia for the preceding ten years, having permanently resided in the Republic for the preceding ten years, and having the right to vote is eligible to be elected as President of the Republic.
