Armenian PM extends condolences to US Vice-President

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolences to US Vice-Presidnet Joe Biden. The message reads, in part:

“Dear Mr. Vice-President,

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia I extend my deepest condolences on the occasion of the terrible tragedy that occurred in the State of Connecticut a few days ago.

We mourn the loss with the American people, share their pain and pray for the peace of the souls of the innocent victims.

Please, convey our words of sympathy to the families and friends of the victims.”

Twenty-six people, including 20 children, were killed in a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, in western Connecticut. The US holds a four-day mourning.
