Armenia, IBM Company reach an agreement on cooperation

The delegation headed by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the headquarters of the IBM Company in the Silicon Valley. An agreement was reached with the IBM to set up a joint task force to study the opportunities, potential and perspectives of cooperation.

IBM representatives will visit Armenia to familiarize with the activity of the IT companies.

The task force will present the results of the study by the end of the first quarter of 2013, after which the Armenian Government and the IBM Company will consider an agreement on the implementation of future joint programs.

The IBM is the leader in the world with the number of patented inventions not only in the IT sphere, but also in different fields of the fundamental science.
