“De Factor” magazine has named Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronian “Man of the Year.”
“I’m very grateful, this is a great honor for my,” Aronian said, speaking at the award ceremony. “As sportsmen, we are more used to receiving awards after victories,” he added.
From November 29 to December 5 Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronian will participate in the London Chess Classic. For Aronian, the victory in any competition is the most important.
Aronain says he always tries not to think about the nationality of his opponent. “I think there are no hostile nations. Simply, there are bad people in every nation.”
Despite the pressure of the journalists, the Grand Master refused to answer any political question. More concretely, he did not say who we would like to see as President of the Republic of Armenia.
