The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia, along with 6 Armenian travel agencies, will represent Armenia at TTG INCONTRI annual world travel exhibition which will take place in Rimini, Italy from October 18th -20th.
This year, an estimated number of 2,000 travel agencies from around 130 countries are expected to take part in the exhibition.
The Italian market is one of the target destinations of NCFA’s tourism promotion and the expected results from the efforts directed at its development are quite promising.
It is worth mentioning that during the period of 2008-2011, there has been registered a near 50% increase of incoming tourism from Italy to Armenia. Given these trends, growth of around 20% of visitors from Italy is expected in 2012.
