The authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, displaying goodwill and commitment to the Geneva Convention provisions, with the assistance of Stepanakert Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, handed over the body of Azerbaijani saboteur H. Hasanov to the representatives of Azerbaijan, the NKR’s State Commission on POWs, Hostages and Missing Persons informed. Hasanov was killed when he offered resistance during his capture after he infiltrated the territory of Shahumian region of the NKR.
The handover of the body took place at 11:30 am on October 2 near the village of Bash Karvend at the border between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
