“Every citizen of the Republic of Armenia has the right to participate in the elections and freely express his will,” the Prosecutor General’s Office reminds. It stresses that prevention of the realization of the voting right is a crime.
Working groups have been created at RA Prosecutor General’s Office, RA Police and the Special Investigative Service to prevent any election frauds.
“We apply to all presidential candidates, all interested people to inform the law-enforcement bodies as soon as they register any violation of the voting right, which will allow to take operative measures to give a legal assessment of any illegal action,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
